Each cleaner sets their own price, and when they publish it, you’ll find it right on their profile. Right now, the starting prices cleaners publish on Cleaning Profiles for a standard visit run $110 to $150. The size of your home, how much there is to do and how often you book all move the final number, and you hear it before anyone comes. Cleaners who don’t publish a price quote once they’ve seen the place, which is normal in this trade.

Not a cent. Searching, reading profiles and reaching out to a cleaner are free for you. The cleaners pay us a flat monthly membership for their page, and that’s the only money we handle.

Because each cleaner sets their own price, and we never touch it. Some charge per visit, some by the hour, and some publish a starting price for a standard home and adjust from there; their profile tells you which. Bedrooms, bathrooms and how long it’s been since the last proper clean all move the number. The good part is that you read it before you reach out, not after.

That’s up to you, and we’d never tell you that you have to. The price on a profile is what that cleaner charges: we add nothing on top and take nothing out. If you loved the job and want to say thanks with a little extra, it goes straight to them.

Directly, the way you agree with them. Nothing goes through us and we take no commission, so the whole amount goes to your cleaner. Across Cleaning Profiles you’ll see Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, cash, card, PayPal, Apple Pay and check, and each profile lists what that cleaner takes.

You book and pay the cleaner directly. We stay out of the money on purpose: there’s no checkout here and we take no commission, so what you agree with them is exactly what they get and exactly what you pay.

Nobody can buy a better spot. Every cleaner pays the same flat membership, and profiles take turns at the top, so everyone gets a fair share of it.

Pick two or three that fit, reach out straight from their page, and compare what they tell you.

Right from their profile. Call, send a text, or use WhatsApp or email when they show those buttons. Texts, WhatsApp messages and emails open with a short note already written, so you only add the details. No forms, no waiting and nobody in between: it goes straight to them.

Four things turn a maybe into a price and a day: how big your place is in bedrooms and bathrooms, how often you’d like it done, which day suits you, and the one thing you care about most, whether that’s the kitchen, the floors or the dog hair. That’s enough for a real answer the first time.

Your first cleaning visit

The questions that save surprises later: how they price, per visit or by the hour; what a regular clean includes; whether they bring their own products; if the same person comes each time; how they handle a spot they missed; and how much notice they need to reschedule. If insurance matters to you, ask about that too. It’s a normal question.

Of course. It’s the normal thing to do: ask one or five and compare. Each one hears from you directly, and whatever you agree stays between the two of you. Where a profile shows a starting price, you can even compare before you write.

Give it a few hours. During the day a cleaner is usually in someone’s home with their hands full, and they answer once the job is done. If their profile lists hours, that tells you when they work. Try a text if you called, or a call if you texted. And if you still hear nothing, the city link on their profile shows you everyone else who cleans there.

Neither. There’s nothing to download and nothing to sign up for. The accounts here belong to the cleaners, for their own pages. You open a profile, read it and reach out from any phone or computer.

We never have it. Nothing on Cleaning Profiles asks for your number, so there’s nothing to sell or pass along. You reach the cleaner yourself, from your own phone, and we don’t see what you write or what you agree.

Very little, because we barely have any. Without an account, there’s no name, email or phone number of yours for us to keep. When you tap a call, text or WhatsApp button, we count that a button was tapped, so each cleaner can see whether their page is working for them. That count carries no name, no number and no address.

A regular clean covers every bedroom and bathroom; the kitchen counters, stovetop, sink and the fronts of the appliances; floors vacuumed and mopped; beds made; trash emptied; and mirrors and glass doors. The garage, laundry and the outside of the windows usually aren’t part of it unless you ask. Every cleaner’s list is a little different, so check their profile or ask when you reach out.

Who does house cleaning

However often suits your week. Nothing here locks you into a plan, and what you pay is between you and your cleaner. Nearly every cleaner on Cleaning Profiles will come weekly, every two weeks or just once. A one-time clean is an easy way to start: you see the work first. If a profile mentions a lower price for regular visits, it’s right there; if not, just ask.

A deep clean goes after everything a regular visit skips: inside the oven and the fridge, behind and under the appliances, baseboards and door frames, hard-water buildup, ceiling fans and vents. It makes sense when your place has gone a while without a proper clean, before guests, or as the first visit of a regular schedule. It takes longer and costs more, so ask whether your first visit should be one.

It’s the clean you book once a place is empty and someone is about to see it: a landlord, a buyer or the next tenant. Empty rooms change the job. The insides of cabinets, drawers and appliances, and every corner the furniture was hiding, all get done. If your deposit depends on it, say so when you ask, because it changes what needs covering.

Who does move-out cleaning

Either way works, and both are completely normal. Some people stay home; others leave a key or a door code and come back to a finished house. Settle it in your first message rather than on the doorstep. We don’t set any rule about it.

You don’t have to. Cleaning is what you’re paying for. But clearing clothes, toys and whatever is sitting on the counters means their time goes into cleaning instead of moving things around, so you get more for the same money. If you’d like the tidying done too, mention it when you ask for a price.

Often, yes, and it’s a fair thing to ask for. Some cleaners do every job themselves; others run a small team, and their profile says which. If having the same person matters to you, say so in your first message. It’s much easier to set up at the start than three months in.

It depends on the cleaner, so it’s worth confirming in your first message. Their profile says which products they work with. On Cleaning Profiles you’ll find cleaners who use eco-friendly products and cleaners who use hypoallergenic ones. If someone at home has asthma or an allergy, or you’d rather they use yours, just say so. It’s a normal request, and much easier to agree on before the first visit.

It depends on the size of your home, how it’s looking and how many people come, so your cleaner is the one to ask when they give you a price. Expect the first visit to take longer than the ones after it: there’s more to catch up on, and they’re still learning your home.

Why the first visit runs long

Yes, and you arrange it with your cleaner directly, since we don’t handle bookings. Ask how much notice they need when you set up the first visit, and save their number so a change is one text away.

Any cleaning business: one person on their own, a family business or a company with a team. We keep Cleaning Profiles to cleaning only, so everyone you find here does the job you’re looking for.

We don’t, and we’d rather tell you straight. We can’t verify a license or an insurance policy, so we don’t collect documents at all. What we do instead: when a cleaner gives us the exact name their business is registered under, their profile links to their state’s free public register, and you can look it up yourself in a minute. Plenty of great cleaners work for themselves and never registered a company, so a profile without that link says nothing about their work.

How to look a cleaner up

They come from the cleaner, never from us. Every photo and video on a profile was shared by that cleaner, and we never add stock pictures to anyone’s page, so what you see is what they chose to show you.

Each profile lists the languages that cleaner works in, so you can check before you reach out. We built Cleaning Profiles with Spanish-speaking cleaning businesses in mind, and if you write to us, English or Spanish both work.

Finding a cleaner who speaks Spanish

It changes how the arrangement works, not how good the work is. One person usually means the same hands every time and a longer visit. A team means more people for fewer hours, and someone can cover when one of them is away. Profiles say which they are, so pick the setup that suits your week.

One person or a company?

Yes, and a lot more. Cleaning Profiles is cleaning only, but that covers a lot of ground: homes and apartments, offices, move-outs, after-construction cleanups, carpets, windows and pressure washing. Pick the one you need and you’ll see who does it.

See every kind of cleaning

Often, yes, even when your town isn’t where they’re based. Cleaning is local work, but almost nobody works only on their own street. A profile can list the towns that cleaner covers and how far they travel, and some go up to two hours from home. If your town has no page yet, try the nearest bigger city.

Type your town into the search on our Find a cleaner page. It matches the towns each cleaner travels to, not only the one they’re based in, and many towns have a page of their own. If nothing comes up, try the nearest bigger city: cleaners often cover the towns around them. And if you know a great cleaner, send them our way.

That cleaner isn’t available through Cleaning Profiles at the moment, so their phone, WhatsApp and email aren’t shown. Everything else on the page is still theirs: their photos, their prices, their hours. The page links you to other cleaners in their city, and if they come back, their contact details come back with them.

Tell your cleaner, the same day if you can. When a cleaner promises to come back and redo it at no extra cost, that promise is written on their profile, so you can read it before you ever reach out. It’s their commitment, not ours, but it’s on the record, and that’s the point of it being there.

The job itself is an agreement between you and the cleaner, and we aren’t part of it. But there are two things you can do. Leave a review from the button on their page and answer honestly: a bad answer stays up, and neither they nor we can take it down. And tell us what happened through our contact page. A pattern of serious complaints is one of the few things that takes a profile off Cleaning Profiles. We’d rather take a name off than defend it.

Write to us

Instead of stars, there are three yes-or-no questions: would you have them again, did they arrive when they said, and was the place left the way you expected. Anyone can answer from the “Leave a review” button on a cleaner’s page by confirming their email, and cleaners can also text their customers a link that works once. You see the count, like fourteen of fifteen would have them again. We don’t check that each job happened, and we say so right next to it. What we do promise is that no answer comes down for being bad.

No. A cleaner can reply underneath, and a calm reply often says more than the complaint did, but they can’t take a review down or pay us to. We only remove one for insults, for personal details that shouldn’t be public, or when it isn’t about the work at all. Never for being negative.
