Kitchen Deep Cleaning

• Oven racks and door glass taken apart and degreased
• Range hood filters pulled out and left to soak, not just wiped down
• Behind and under the fridge and the stove, when they can be pulled out
• The backsplash and the wall above the burners, grease film and all
• Cabinet fronts, handles and the dusty tops of the wall units
• Sink, faucet and drain descaled where the water is hard

• The duct behind the hood filters. The filters and the housing are as far as this goes
• Inside the fridge and freezer, usually quoted as a separate item
• Repairs: a worn oven seal, a loose hinge, a scratched cooktop

• Years of baked-on grease instead of months
• A double oven, or a gas range with heavy cast iron grates
• Built-in appliances that have to be unscrewed to reach behind
• Cabinets emptied and cleaned inside as well as out

Most of the time goes on the oven and the hood, so how long it has been since the last one sets the pace. Degreaser has to sit before it works, and that part cannot be rushed.

Book this when the kitchen has stopped responding to normal cleaning, before an inspection, or on a schedule if you cook every day.
