Final Construction Clean

• Paint, caulk and adhesive razored off glass, tile and hardware
• Protective film and stickers pulled off windows, appliances, tubs and fixtures
• Window glass, frames, sills and the tracks underneath, done inside
• Inside every cabinet and drawer, where sawdust from the install sits
• Appliances cleaned inside and out, the oven and its racks included
• Light fixtures, switch plates, air vents and the tops of doors

• Clearing debris and leftover materials. That belongs to the rough clean, and a final booked on a site that never had one is priced differently.
• Grout haze and thinset left by the tile setter. Some cleaners count it and some send it back to the trade, so it is worth settling before the day.
• Touching up paint or filling nail holes. The cleaner takes off what is sitting on the surface; the punch list belongs to the trades.

• The number of windows, and whether the glass has film, stickers or overspray on it.
• Two-story entries, high ceilings and light fixtures that need a ladder or a lift.
• The number of bathrooms, since each one is glass, tile, chrome and grout.
• A site that never got a rough clean, which turns the final into two jobs.

The longest of the four construction cleans, and most of that time goes into glass and small edges, since a window is razored and a track is detailed one at a time. On a whole house it often runs past a single visit, and it gets booked to a fixed date because the walk-through follows it.

Book this right before the client walks in or the property is photographed. It is what turns a finished build into a finished space.
