Construction Touch Up Clean

• Fingerprints off glass, mirrors, door handles and switch plates
• Dust that settled since the final clean, on sills and flat surfaces
• Floors re-vacuumed and mopped where people have been walking through
• Appliance fronts and stainless wiped clear of prints and smudges
• Whatever the punch-list trades left that day: shavings, sawdust, footprints
• Bathrooms wiped down and the shower glass done again

• A second final clean. If handover got pushed back and the place sat empty for weeks, that is a full clean again, not a touch-up.
• Cleaning up after real punch-list work. A sanded drywall patch or a refinished floor puts dust everywhere again and is quoted on its own.
• Anything the final clean never covered. A touch-up refreshes what was already done; it does not go back into cabinets or the oven.

• Short notice, because it is usually booked against a walk-through date that keeps moving.
• A long drive for a short job, where the travel can end up longer than the visit.
• How many days went by since the final clean, and how many people walked through in that time.
• Repeat visits on a model home that is being shown while the rest of the site is still building.

The shortest of the construction cleans. It is a pass rather than a clean, and it is normally done in one visit on the day it is needed. What stretches it is how much the trades did after the final: a week of quiet dust is quick, a re-sanded patch is not.

Book this in the days between the final clean and the handover, when people are still coming and going.
