Apartment Complex Cleaning

• Lobby, mail room and leasing office, done before residents come through
• Hallway carpets vacuumed, stairwells swept, handrails and railings wiped down
• The elevator cab, the mirrors and the dirt in the tracks
• Laundry room: lint traps emptied, machine tops and folding counter
• Gym mirrors, equipment frames and the mats wiped down
• Trash room and the dumpster corral swept and tidied up

• The inside of anyone's apartment. Turning a vacant unit over between tenants is a move out clean, and it is usually priced per unit.
• The pool itself. The water and the equipment belong to the pool company; the deck and the pool restroom can be on the route if you ask.
• The parking lot and the grounds — lot sweeping, landscaping and snow normally go to different contractors.

• The number of buildings and floors. Each one adds another stairwell and another elevator
• Whether the weekend is covered, or Monday starts with everything the weekend left in the trash room and the laundry room
• Amenities. A gym, a clubhouse, pool restrooms and a dog wash are each another stop
• Whether vacant unit turnovers are in the contract or billed one by one

This is a route rather than a single visit: someone passes through the common areas on set days, and the inside of the units is not part of it. There is no hour when the building is empty, so the route runs early and works around people coming and going.

Book this if you manage a building or an HOA. It is usually a recurring contract, and often combined with move out cleans between tenants.

• Are empty units included, or is that a separate price for each one?
• Which days will someone be on site, and does that change on holiday weekends?
• Who deals with it when a resident leaves a couch next to the dumpster?
