School Cleaning

• Trash pulled from every classroom and the desks wiped down each night
• Cafeteria tables and floors done after the last lunch period
• Restrooms cleaned and the soap and paper dispensers refilled
• Hallway floors dust mopped, then damp mopped where traffic shows
• Gym floors dust mopped and locker room benches wiped down
• Door handles, light switches and stair rails done every night

• Stripping and waxing the hallway tile, usually quoted as summer work
• The cafeteria kitchen line and hood, normally handled by food service
• Gym floor refinishing, which needs a flooring contractor and sanding gear

• Carpeted classrooms instead of tile, which need extraction rather than a mop
• A restroom block on each floor, since every one is a separate stop for the crew
• After-school programs and evening events that push the crew later
• Whether the school buys the paper and liners, or the cleaner does

Term-time work happens in one window after dismissal, so the crew size decides how much of the building gets covered that night. The summer reset, with rooms emptied and floors done properly, runs for weeks rather than hours.

Book this for a school, a daycare or a college building. Ask the cleaner whether their people have been background checked, because most districts require it before anyone works around students.

• Is the summer floor work in the monthly price, or billed separately?
• Do you bring the soap, paper and trash liners, or do we?
• How many people come each night, and how much of the building does that cover?
