Draft. This describes what the site does today, accurately. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet, and it will be before we charge anyone.

The short version

If you are looking for a cleaner, you can use this whole directory without giving us anything. No account, no email, no phone number. The search box filters the page inside your own browser and what you type there is never sent to us.

If you are a cleaner and you open an account, we hold what you type. That is what the rest of this page is about. We have never sold any of it and we are not going to.

Looking for a cleaner

  • No account. Nothing on the public side of the site asks you to sign up.
  • No advertising trackers. No third-party pixels, no remarketing tags, no analytics product. The public pages load no third-party code at all.
  • Standard server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, records requests including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
  • Calling a company is between you and them. We do not route the call, see the number you dialed, or take a commission. Whatever you share with that company is under their practices, not ours.

If you write a review · Si escribes una reseña

A cleaning business can send you a one-time link asking how the job went. You do not need an account and we do not ask you to make one. If you answer, this is everything we keep:

  • Your first name, because a review nobody signs is a review nobody believes. Not your surname.
  • Your city, if you choose to give it. It is optional.
  • Your three yes-or-no answers and anything you wrote.
  • The date, and which invitation link you used.

We never ask for your phone number or your email, so we do not have them. Nothing you write here is used to contact you, ever.

What you write is public. It appears on that business’s page, with your first name and the date, for anyone to read — that is the whole point of it. The business can write a reply underneath. The business cannot have your review taken down, and neither can we: the only ones we ever remove are those that insult somebody, publish a stranger’s private details, or are not about the work.

We do not check that you hired them. All we know is that they sent you the link, and we say exactly that on their page so nobody reads more into it than there is.

How long it stays. As long as that business has a page here. If they stop paying, their page and everything on it stop being visible — nothing is deleted, and if they come back it all comes back exactly as it was.

If you want yours deleted, write to us and it goes. Those are your words and that is your right over them. One thing we will not do is act on that request when it comes from the business instead of from you: a company asking us to remove a review about itself is not somebody exercising a privacy right, and we treat the two differently on purpose.

If you open an account · Si abres una cuenta

Only cleaners and cleaning companies open accounts. This is everything we hold:

  • Your name, your email and your password. The password is stored scrambled by our database provider and we cannot read it, not even to help you. That is why the only way back in is a reset link.
  • Everything you type into your listing: business name, contact name, city, state, ZIP code, phone, email, service areas, hours, what you charge from, how you take payment, and the rest of the fields in your panel. Your listing is public by design — that is what a directory is — but only once you press publish. Before that, only you can see it.
  • The photos you upload, and the words you write about them. They are stored by Cloudflare and served from our own address, media.cleaningprofiles.com. Your browser shrinks each photo before it leaves your phone, so what reaches us is the smaller copy. Photos on a published listing are public — that is the point of them. Think about what is in the frame: a customer's front door or a piece of post with an address on it is their information, not yours to publish.
  • The name your business is registered under, if you give us one. It is public on your profile, next to a link to your state’s register. We do not collect documents at all. We used to look at insurance certificates and licenses; we stopped in August 2026, we no longer ask for them, and we do not accept them if they are sent.
  • Payment identifiers. Membership is charged by Stripe on Stripe's own page. Your card number never touches this site and we never see it. We keep only the reference numbers Stripe hands back, which on their own cannot charge anybody. (Payments are not open yet.)

No guardamos ningún documento.

Who stores it for us

We do not run our own servers. These are the companies that hold data on our behalf, and there are no others:

  • Supabase — accounts and the database. Servers in the United States.
  • Cloudflare — hosting the site, storing the photos you upload, and the server logs above.
  • Resend — sends the confirmation and password emails, so it handles your address in order to deliver them.
  • Stripe — payments, when they open. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
  • Anthropic — only if you press the button in your panel that puts your own business description into English. The paragraph you wrote is sent to be translated and the English comes back to you. Nothing else goes with it: not your name, your phone number, your email or who you are. If you never press that button, nothing is ever sent.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to write to us there.

What we keep in your browser

There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. We set no advertising or analytics cookies of any kind. Two things are stored in your own browser:

  • Your session, once you sign in, so you are not asked for your password on every page. It stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere else. Signing out removes it.
  • An invite code, if you arrived through someone's invitation link, kept for 60 days so we can credit whoever recommended us. If you sign up, we record who referred you. That person sees your business name, your city and the date — never your phone number or your email.

What we never do

We have never sold personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We do not sell email lists, we do not pass your phone number to anyone, and there is no arrangement under which someone pays us for access to the people in this directory. If that ever changed, it would be said here before it happened, not after.

How long we keep it

Your account and your listing stay while your account exists. Ask us to delete them and they go the same day. After that we keep only what we are obliged to keep: records of payments, which tax rules require. We hold no verification documents at all: we stopped accepting them in August 2026, and the ones sent before then were deleted.

Photos you remove are not deleted straight away. They come off your page immediately and nobody else can see them, but we keep them for 30 days so you can put a photo back yourself if you removed it by mistake — there is a button in your panel for exactly that. After 30 days the photo leaves your account and is queued to be erased from storage; the same happens to every photo on an account that is closed.

Reviews stay while the page they are on stays. They are not deleted when a business stops paying — they stop being visible, which is not the same thing, and we say so above. The person who wrote one can ask us to delete it and we will.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. If you live in California or another state with privacy legislation, you can also ask whether your information was ever sold or shared. The answer is no, and it will stay no. We will not treat you any differently for asking.

The fastest way is to write to us, where you will find our WhatsApp and how to reach a person.

Children

This is a service for people running a cleaning business. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

When this page changes

The date at the top is the last time it changed. When we connect something new — photo uploads, analytics, anything that touches your data — this page is updated at the same time, not afterwards.
