Patio and Grill Cleaning

• Grates and the metal bars underneath them pulled out, scraped and degreased
• Grease tray and drip pan emptied, washed and put back
• Carbon buildup scraped off the inside of the lid and the firebox
• The outside of the lid, the side shelves and the control knobs wiped down
• Patio table, chairs and cushions washed down
• Cobwebs cleared from the pergola, the umbrella and the light fixtures

• Repairs to the grill. Burners that will not light, rusted-through grates, a bad igniter or a worn regulator are a repair, not a cleaning.
• The propane tank. It is not swapped, refilled or hauled anywhere as part of the job.
• Pressure washing the concrete around the patio, which is quoted as its own service.

• A full season of buildup instead of a wipe-down between cookouts
• Charcoal grills and smokers, where the ash and creosote take longer than gas
• A built-in outdoor kitchen, which does not come apart like a rolling grill
• How many chairs there are, and whether the cushions are part of it

A grill that gets wiped down between cookouts is short work. One that has been closed up since last season takes far longer, because the carbon has to soften before it will lift. Adding the table, the chairs and the cushions stretches the job well past the grill itself.

Book this at the start of the season, before you host, or the morning after. A grill left dirty over winter usually needs more than one pass.
