The house stays shut, the air conditioning runs all day, and whatever dust made it inside just stays there and circles. By the middle of summer people are not calling me because the house is filthy. They are calling because they have been looking at it for three weeks and they are done.

Then there is the water. Around here it leaves that white film on the shower glass, the faucets and the sink, and wiping it does nothing — it is scale, not dirt, and it has to be taken off. It is the thing I get asked about most, and the thing people are most surprised you can actually fix.

And the garage. In summer it is an oven in there, so it is the room that never gets done. Sooner or later somebody asks me to just take that on, because they know they never will.

Who I usually clean for

This town works around the clock, and a lot of my clients do too. Hospitality, the Medical District, the dealerships — people who sleep in the afternoon and work while everybody else is home. I clean around that, quietly, on the hours that actually work for them.

A lot of short-term rentals, too. Checkout at eleven, guests at four, and everything in between belongs to me. I know that clock and I do not miss it.

And families out in Summerlin and Henderson where both parents work. They are not looking for perfect. They want to walk in on a Friday and not see the week piled up on the counter.

Almost everyone who says that is picturing every single week. Once a month is a completely different thing, and it does more than people expect: one real cleaning resets the house, and what you do in between is just keeping up instead of digging out.

My prices start at $140 a visit. What moves it is the size of the place and how long it has been since the last one — a first visit on a house that has been waiting is always the longest.

The jobs most people do not know I take

Carpets and upholstery. Windows and facades. Pressure washing the driveway and the walls. The patio and the grill before people come over, and the whole house the morning after they leave.

And it is not only homes. Offices, stores, dealerships, buildings that agencies manage, and construction clean-up from the rough stage right through to the final clean before anybody moves in.

What I use in your house

Eco-friendly, biodegradable and hypoallergenic products, and regular ones when a job needs them. If there is a baby crawling on that floor or somebody in the house with asthma, tell me and that decides it.

Pets are welcome and they do not bother me. Most of my clients have one.
