What Airbnb cleaning looks like in Cincinnati

Cincinnati is built on hillsides above the Ohio River, and much of it is old brick: narrow century homes with tall ceilings, wood floors, ornate trim and basements underneath. Winters are cold and the furnace runs for months. Summers are humid, and the basements under these houses hold that damp.

Tall ceilings put crown molding, transoms and light fixtures out of reach without a ladder, and carved woodwork holds dust that a cloth alone skips. Months of furnace heat spread fine dust through the whole house, and street salt tracked in over winter dulls hardwood if it sits on the floor.
